For the 2021-2022 season, Summit Wrestling Club will be following the COVID-19 mask guidelines set by the Abington Heights School District in order for the club to use the district facilities.
The mask policy is as follows:
-Athletes may take their mask off when warmups begin.
-All coaches must wear a mask unless engaged in strenuous activity
-All spectators will wear a mask at all times
By signing up, you and everyone in your party that attends practices, meets, and/or tournaments in Abington Heights facilities agrees to follow the rules. There are zero exceptions to the above guidelines.
Spectators and wrestlers (when appropriate) that refuse to wear a mask will not be allowed to stay inside district facilities. Practices will be stopped until everyone complies with guidelines. We have always suggested that parents do not stay inside gym during practices because it can be distracting for children and difficult for coaches to talk over parents in conversation with others, this year, with trying to coach young children through a mask, we strongly suggest this.
